About Sarah Coker, LCSW
Hi there — I’m Sarah.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Qualified Supervisor providing comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) services, along with other evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. For more than fifteen years, I have worked with individuals throughout the Tampa Bay area, offering both in-person and virtual sessions.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I strive to create a supportive therapeutic relationship grounded in curiosity, warmth, and respect, where we can work together to better understand the challenges you are facing. Through this process, we will identify unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build upon the strengths and resilience that can support meaningful healing and growth.
Seeking support can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to navigate it alone. If you are ready to begin the process of healing and self-discovery, I invite you to reach out by phone or through the contact form. It would be a privilege to support you in moving toward greater balance, connection, and well-being.

On a personal note...
Family and friends are at the center of my life. Those relationships mean everything to me, and that belief in the importance of genuine human connection is something I carry with me both personally and professionally.
Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me curled up with a good book, a cat (or two) nearby, perfectly content to let the hours pass. I'm a proud fur mom to my beloved cats, and I firmly believe animals make every moment a little softer and a little better.
I also enjoy exploring the world in ways that feel meaningful to me — discovering new places through travel, losing myself in live music, and finding new stories through the pages of a good book. Yoga is another constant in my life, a grounding practice that helps me stay present and find balance amid the busyness of everyday life.
And yet, some of my most cherished moments are the simplest ones: a home-cooked meal shared with a close friend, a quiet evening in, a long conversation that stretches well past dessert. I love a good book and a good friend in equal measure — and ideally, both at once.
